Pathpoint Pty Ltd (ABN 26 692 283 873) (“PathPoint”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides a real-time platform that connects sites, transport companies and drivers, including our website (pathpoint.co), site and fleet web portals, and driver mobile application (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how you can access or correct your information or make a complaint.
We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and handling of your information as described in this Policy.
This Policy applies to everyone who interacts with the Services, including:
The type of information we collect depends on how you use the Services.
Real-time and trip location data. The driver app uses GPS and similar technologies to provide turn-by-turn navigation to a site and, via geofence handoff, on-site pathway guidance. We collect a driver’s location while a trip is active so that site managers and transport companies can see approaching vehicles, and so drivers can be guided and queued accurately. Location collection can be limited using your device’s operating system permissions, but this may limit or disable core features of the driver app.
Transport companies invite drivers by email; site managers and transport company administrators may input or upload information about drivers and vehicles on their behalf. If you are added to the platform by an organisation you work with, that organisation is responsible for ensuring it has the authority to provide us with your information.
We collect, hold and use personal information to:

We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers) may store or process personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient handles that information consistently with the APPs, including through contractual protections.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricting access to personal information to personnel who need it to perform their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate reliably, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site (for example, via analytics tools). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function properly if you do so.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining auditable activity records, complying with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and resolving disputes. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions permitted by law. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and may charge a reasonable fee for access in some circumstances.
